Wilson & Heyward LLC provides litigation and conflict resolution services to clients throughout the state, while concentrating primarily in the lowcountry and midlands. We represent all parties before various levels of the state, federal and appellate judiciary, whether seeking damages, or defending a lawsuit. Conflict resolution, either through mediation or arbitration, is often the preferred focus before engaging in litigation, and became a cornerstone of the practice soon after it started in 1998. Chosen by counsel on each side of a conflict, attorney Bo Wilson has served the legal community as a mediator and arbitrator in over eight hundred-fifty cases successfully. Also, as a direct advocate of a party in the mediation process, he and the other attorneys in the office have served clients in hundreds more such cases.

Mr. Wilson served as counsel for the Town of James Island from its inception through four administrations and currently is filling that role in the fifth. He also is counsel for the Board of Zoning Appeals. He also serves as counsel for the James Island Charter High School.

In addition to civil litigation, attorney Meg Horn is an accomplished family law attorney, serving the needs of those in what may be the most trying time of their adult lives, whether through mediation or family court litigation. Ms. Horn also has substantial criminal law experience and has represented numerous individuals in that area of practice.

With the recent addition of attorney Brandon T. Reeser as an associate in the James Island office and the opening of an office in Salley, South Carolina,- equidistant from Lexington, Orangeburg and Aiken– we will provide even better service and greater convenience for all of our clients.
